Elliott Murphy (USA)
- Met Elliott Murphy brengt Duvelblues een echte ster naar Klein-Brabant. Murphy is inmiddels een éminence grise uit de folkblues, een singer-songwriter die al in de jaren zeventig vergeleken werd met Dylan en die Springsteen als fan en vriend mag bestempelen. Enkele jaren terug was hij solo te gast op Duvelblues, nu komt de troubadour mét band. Een buitenkans!

Barrel Aged Moonshine (BE)
- Barrel Aged Moonshine gaat voor een samensmelten van Blues, Jazz en Rock'N Roll geïnspireerd door onder andere T-Bone Walker, BB King en The Fabulous Thunderbirds waarbij ze hun eigenheid nooit verliezen. Steaming jump blues wordt afgewisseld met ingetogen slow blues en jazzy instrumentals. Een ervaring om live mee te maken!

Kaz Hawkins
- Overal waar ze optreedt, laat de Noord-Ierse Kaz Hawkins een onuitwisbare indruk na. Hawkins verstaat de kunst om zowel Etta James als Nina Simone én Janis Joplin in herinnering te brengen, met live-shows waarin ze zich steeds 200% geeft. Van Morrison is al jaren haar grootste fan – dat zegt genoeg. Flinke bonus voor de gitaarliefhebbers onder ons: Kaz brengt onze snarenwonder Stef Paglia, hét grote gitaartalent van België, mee naar Duvelblues.

Tom Rigney
- Ruim 100 groepen (!) vonden over de jaren heen hun weg naar Duvelblues; logisch dat het festival intussen haar favorieten heeft. Tom Rigney is daar beslist een van. Dit jaar scoort de vurige violist een hattrick: voor de derde keer komt Tom, samen met zijn swingende band Flambeau, de grote tent flamberen met een kruidige saus van cajun, blues en Americana. Stilzitten? On-mo-ge-lijk.
- Over 100 bands (!) found their way to Duvelblues over the years; logical that the festival has its favourites in the meantime. Tom Rigney is definitely one of them. This year, the fiery violinist scores a hat-trick: for the third time, Tom, together with his swinging band Flambeau, will flambé the big tent with a spicy sauce of cajun, blues and Americana. Sitting still? Impossible.
